Since 1 July 2019, anyone who wants to sell tobacco products must apply for a permit for this from the municipality. The person who is to run the business must show that he or she is suitable.

Questions you should answer NO to

Do you have debts with the Enforcement Officer that have not been resolved for at least 3 years?

Have you been punished for any crime in the last 3 years?

Have you had a company that went bankrupt in the last 3 years?

Questions you should answer YES to

Can you show where all the money comes from, with for example bank statements and promissory notes or the like, which you use to start your business?

Have you had an annual income of more than SEK 180,000 in the last 3 years?

If you have borrowed money from another private individual, do you answer the questions above correctly?
